Privacy Policy

This policy explains how OG Bike Works handles information across our website, BikeNet mobile app, My BikeNet customer portal, beta program, and customer support.

Who we are

OG Bike Works provides BikeNet software, NXS cycling products, customer support, and related online services. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to support@ogbikeworks.com.

Information we collect

Depending on the service you use, we may collect:

  • Account details such as your name, email address, sign-in provider, and account identifier.
  • Bike, component, sensor, setup, maintenance, and support information you choose to save.
  • Ride information such as routes, location, time, speed, elevation, sensor readings, shifting events, and ride notes when you use BikeNet 2.0 ride-recording features.
  • Beta requests and feedback, including your email address, phone platform and model, app build, and the feedback you submit.
  • Technical information needed to operate and secure the services, such as device, app, browser, diagnostic, and error information.
  • Order and payment-related information handled through our Shopify storefront. OG Bike Works does not directly store complete payment-card numbers.

How we use information

  • Provide, synchronize, maintain, secure, and improve BikeNet and My BikeNet.
  • Provide BikeNet 2.0 features such as recording rides, displaying analytics, managing bikes and components, and providing requested exports or integrations.
  • Respond to support, warranty, beta, and product inquiries.
  • Send service, beta, security, and account communications you request or consent to receive.
  • Process orders, prevent abuse, comply with law, and protect our customers and services.

We do not sell personal information.

Services that help us operate

We use service providers only as needed to deliver specific functions. These may include Google Firebase and Google Cloud for authentication, databases, files, and application infrastructure; Apple and Google for sign-in and app distribution; Shopify for storefront, account, order, and payment services; mapping providers for map display; and Strava when you choose to connect or upload an activity. Their handling of information is also governed by their own privacy terms.

Your choices and controls

You may choose not to provide optional information or connect optional integrations. Device permissions such as location, Bluetooth, photos, and notifications can be managed in your phone settings. Disconnecting a third-party integration stops future sharing but does not automatically delete information already sent to that provider.

Retention and deletion

We retain information while it is needed to provide the service, maintain legitimate business records, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, or protect the service. To request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal information or BikeNet account, email support@ogbikeworks.com from the address associated with your account. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Security and children

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security. Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

International use and policy changes

Information may be processed in countries where we or our providers operate. We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The effective date above identifies the latest version.
