BikeNet 2.0 beta — the bike finally joins the ride

Your ride app
should know your bike.

BikeNet 2.0 is more than a GPS recorder. It connects your rides, bike, components, service history, sensors, and drivetrain in one complete cycling platform.

Build the bike in your Stable. Connect its sensors. Record the route. Remember its service history. And when you ride NXS, see the shifts and gears behind the effort. BikeNet 2.0 brings all of it together in one ambitious new app, now being tested with real riders.

Already ride NXS? The current companion app remains available for iPhone and Android.

BikeNet 2.0 beta features

From garage
to finish line.

The features below belong to BikeNet 2.0, not the current NXS companion app. The beta combines bike inventory, navigation, ride recording, history, sensors, and device tools.

Record the complete ride

GPS route, speed, elevation, moving time, and detailed ride summaries stay together.

Connect the sensors you own

Pair standard BLE speed, cadence, heart-rate, and power sensors directly to the phone. With NXS, the motor provides the hardware layer that brings ANT+ sensor data into BikeNet.

Build your Stable

Keep every bike, photo, component, specification, setup detail, and service record organized.

Plan where you are going

Create routes, save favorite destinations, and use on-bike navigation.

Keep your history

Cloud sync makes bikes and rides available on another phone and through the BikeNet customer portal.

Complete your Strava history

Upload the activity to Strava while BikeNet keeps the shifting and gear analysis Strava does not support. Export GPX, FIT, and CSV files anytime.

BikeNet 2.0 vs. other bike computers

More than
a ride recorder.

Dedicated bike computers and cycling apps can be excellent at recording, navigation, sensors, and training. BikeNet 2.0 does those core ride jobs while making the bicycle itself part of the system.

Bike profiles, wheelsets, cassettes, service history, and ride data stay connected. Add NXS and BikeNet also understands the drivetrain, with native setup, diagnostics, shift events, gear use, and per-gear analysis.

BikeNet 2.0 is open-ended

Any drivetrain.
NXS optional.

BikeNet 2.0 is designed for riders using mechanical drivetrains, AXS, Di2, or NXS. Standard BLE sensors will provide speed, cadence, heart rate, and power directly to the phone where available.

When NXS is present, it can add native shift events, gear usage, per-gear ride metrics, gear-colored routes, and ANT+ sensor connectivity.

The honest distinction

BikeNet 2.0 works without NXS. NXS makes it extraordinary.

The current public app is for NXS owners. Ride, route, Stable, BLE sensor, cloud, and export tools are part of the upcoming 2.0 experience.

Help build what comes next

Your bike deserves
a smarter ride app.

BikeNet 2.0 is looking for riders with different bikes, drivetrains, sensors, and riding styles. NXS owners are automatically qualified; other riders can tell us briefly what and how they ride.
