Service records and reminders

Add a service record

1. In Stable, open the bike menu and choose Service records.
2. Choose Add service record.
3. Select the date and maintenance item.
4. Optionally enter mileage and notes about parts, shop work, or setup changes.
5. Save.

What to record

Built-in items include cleaning the bike, replacing the chain or cassette, servicing tires or tubes, brakes, or suspension, and adjusting the drivetrain. Choose a custom item for anything else. Add notes for details you may need later, such as the parts used, suspension pressures, shop name, or an adjustment you made.

Service records can be edited if you make a mistake or deleted if they are no longer useful.

Set the next reminder

Turn on Set next service reminder and choose whether the next service is due on a date or at a bike mileage. You can also decide how early BikeNet should warn you, using days or weeks for a date reminder and kilometres or miles for a mileage reminder.

Each saved ride assigned to the bike updates its mileage, so a mileage-based reminder gets closer automatically as you ride. Remember to enter rides recorded elsewhere if you want the bike total to stay accurate.
