Use Riding Zone
In this guide
What it does
Riding Zone puts a cadence target and a power target on one screen. At a glance, you can see whether each value is below, inside, or above the range you selected.
When cadence is low, the screen may suggest shifting to an easier gear; when it is high, it may suggest shifting to a harder gear. The power indicator separately tells you whether to ease off or increase your effort. The suggestion is guidance, not an automatic shift command.
Set targets
- Open Ride screens and add or edit a Riding Zone screen.
- Enter a minimum and maximum cadence.
- Enter a minimum and maximum power.
- Save, then swipe to the screen while riding.
What data it needs
Riding Zone needs a cadence reading from a connected sensor. For power, it uses a power meter when one is available and can fall back to BikeNet’s clearly labeled estimated power.
You choose the ranges yourself. Riding Zone does not create a workout or decide what your target should be, so use values that suit the session you planned.
