Restore an interrupted ride

What BikeNet saves

BikeNet saves the ride continually while you are recording, rather than waiting until you tap Finish. This working copy can include route points, sensor readings, laps, drivetrain activity, and information about recording interruptions.

The working copy is separate from the finished summary in History. It gives BikeNet a way to recover an unfinished ride if the app closes or the phone restarts unexpectedly.

Resume

1. Reopen BikeNet.
2. When Ride restored appears, review the message.
3. Choose Resume ride to continue from the saved session.

Keep or discard

If you are not ready to continue, leave the recovered ride in place until you decide what to do. Choose Discard restored ride only when you are sure you no longer need it; this permanently deletes the unfinished recording.

After you finish and save a restored ride, it may show Processing while BikeNet rebuilds the map, totals, charts, and other summary information.
