NXS

Add an existing NXS system

Find a configured rear shifter and import the bike stored on it.

Find the system

  1. Wake the rear shifter and keep the phone nearby.
  2. Open Stable and choose Find Existing System.
  3. Select the rear shifter BikeNet finds.
  4. Confirm that it belongs to this bike and give the bike a name.
  5. Enter the four-digit PIN when asked.

What BikeNet imports

BikeNet reads the system information stored on the compatible rear shifting controller and creates a bike with the NXS components already associated with it. This saves you from rebuilding an existing electronic setup one component at a time.

After the import, review the bike and add anything the controller does not store, such as its photo, mechanical parts, Bluetooth sensors, value, and other descriptive details.

If nothing appears

First confirm that BikeNet has Bluetooth or Nearby Devices permission. Wake the rear shifter, bring the phone close to it, and scan again. If another phone or app is already connected, disconnect it there before retrying.

You can still use BikeNet to record rides without importing NXS. The missing features will be the NXS-specific gear, shifting, battery, setup, and ANT+ functions.
